Recently a small group of senior students had the privilege of guiding a group of boys from Tipene around Pukekohe township, showcasing the vibrant murals that tell the story of our community. Throughout the tour our students demonstrated leadership, respect and hospitality. Their conduct was exemplary, representing our school with pride and dignity and reinforcing the values that define us.

On behalf of Tipene, I would like to thank the group of students from Pukekohe High School, for gifting us their time and guiding our kura through the town to each of the murals.

We found it inspiring watching and listening to your leaders give a korero about the kaupapa, the deeper meaning behind each mural and the purpose of how they are impacting and changing the hearts and minds of the community through art.

We are super grateful for the experience and we hope to see you all again.
