About Our Library
At Pukekohe High School Library, we believe reading is the foundation for lifelong learning. Our mission is to build a strong reading culture within our school community by making books, resources, and support easily accessible to students and families beyond the classroom.
The school library is open from 8.30 – 4.00pm for students to read, research, study and borrow books.
Students may borrow 3 books at once, for 3 weeks. Magazines and study guides are issued for one week only. A library card is not required to borrow a book; just bring it to the desk and a librarian will issue the book for you.
Whether at school or at home, the library is here to support families in helping children grow into thoughtful, confident readers.
How We Support Reading at Home:
- Online Library Access – Browse and borrow eBooks and audiobooks anytime from our online catalogue.
- Reading Recommendations – Find curated book lists for all ages and interests to spark excitement for reading on our PHS Library Team.
