KAMAR Setup
Below please find the steps to access the KAMAR Web Portal on your phones:
1. Portal Address / Server Address: https://pukekohe.school.kiwi/
2. Username: Student Kamar ID Code
3. Password: Your password
4. Save
5. Please contact the school on info@pukekohehigh.school.nz if you need to reset your password
The Web Portal is designed to be “mobile device friendly” as well. Students and caregivers can log onto the Web Portal and use it on their mobile devices. Students can do common tasks such as:
· Looking at school calendar events
· Checking daily notices
· Reviewing their timetable for the day
· Looking up results
Parents/caregivers can do the above as well as the following:
· Enrol siblings/new students using the updated enrolment forms for In- Zone and incoming year 9 Out of Zone
· Advise the school if your student will be away from school and specify a reason for their absence
· Request changes to caregiver details and emergency contacts
· View your financial information
· Students and caregivers can see which third parties their data is being sent to and opt out if you wish – we do advise against this as data is shared only when needed for example to SchoolPoint for course selection and parent teacher interviews, and to the library software system so students can book out library books. Opting out of these services will not allow you or your student to partake in these systems/events. Each service will explain why and how the data is used.
The Web Portal will scale down to fit the display of any mobile device when students and caregivers use the browser on their mobile device to log onto the Web Portal. This means you can tap into all the Web Portal’s features on any device with a browser and an internet connection.
What about the KAMAR mobile apps?
The Android and iPhone apps will not work with the new school.kiwi Web Portal. KAMAR has optimised the Web Portal for use on mobile devices so you and your students can use the school.kiwi Web Portal on any device with an internet connection. You can “save” the Web Portal as a bookmark, making it look and feel just like an app, but without the hassle of updating anything.
