Home Stay

Home Stay for International students at Pukekohe High School

During your studies, you will either live with a Homestay family or a Designated Care Giver. Living with a family is a great way to improve your English and enjoy the New Zealand way of life. All homestay families are police checked before any students are placed with them.

Our homestay families live in the community and love hosting international students as part of their family. You will have your own bedroom and the host family will provide three meals a day.

When you apply for homestay accommodation, the International Office staff match you with a family. We then send information to the homestay family about you and we send you, the information about your homestay family. That way, you get to know each other before you arrive in Auckland.

Every homestay family has been inspected and police vetted and offers the best care for you as an international student.

The homestay application is included in the International Application Form

BYOD for Learning

With the resurfacing of COVID in our region and changes in
Alert Levels causing students to continue their learning from home, having a
reliable device at home to access online learning, remain connected with
teachers, and receive feedback about their work makes
BYOD more essential than
ever.
