Years 10-13 Enrolment

PROSPECTUS   STUDENT HANDBOOK

Pukekohe High School has now moved to fully online enrolments. Online enrolments for In Zone families are available throughout the year and needs to be fully completed, including supporting documents prior to having an enrolment interview.  Once we have received all your enrolment information the Enrolment Registrar will contact you to schedule an Enrolment interview.

Interviews:

  • You will meet with the Kaitiaki/Deans/Learning support.
  • Take around 20 minutes
  • Are a good opportunity to discuss your student’s learning needs, interest and strengths
  • Are a great way to answer any queries that you may have about the school

A student is confirmed as enrolled at Pukekohe High School only after an enrolment interview between the school, parent/guardian and student.

You will need the following documents to complete an Online Enrolment:

  • Birth certificate for student (even if not born in New Zealand)
  • Recent proof of permanent address in Pukekohe High School zone (electricity, rental agreement or mortgage letter)
  • Proof of residence in New Zealand – passport and visa documentation for the student
  • Recent report from previous school
  • For students currently in Year 12 and 13 NCEA results
  • A fully completed Health Information Form
  • A fully completed Student Digital User Policy
  • A fully completed Parent Digital User Policy
  • A fully completed Student Social Media Policy

Students wishing to re-enrol, contact the year level Dean/Kaitiaki Aakonga directly, please do not use the online enrolment process –

Enrolment Zone

Pukekohe High School has a Ministry of Education approved enrolment scheme. Under this scheme, students will be enrolled if they live within the home zone. A copy of the zone is available from the school office or here on our website.

Out of Zone Enrolment

The PHS Board accepts Out of Zone applications for Year 9 only. Any other out of zone enrolments will be considered by the PHS Board and you can submit your application through our regular online enrolment form.
