Who can I talk to: Mrs Grass, Mrs Yeomans

You will search for information and then apply it to such things as decisions on future career options and construction of a family tree to show your lineage. You will apply mapping ad statistical analysis to show understanding of tourist activities. Through individual and group activities you will be involved in the classroom community, and understand the importance of being a part of a local, regional, national and international community. Support at Polyfest is an example of this.

Course Information

What Knowledge Will I Develop?

You will start with a focus on your lineage/whakapapa and cultural identity. You will explore how different jobs require different skills, so that you have understanding to be able to write a CV for a specific job. There is also an opportunity to gain credits towards Hospitality and Tourism as a career pathway with links to Aotearoa New Zealand and global destinations.
