Congratulations to Mikaera who has excelled in softball this season.

Mikaera plays for the Thoroughbred Softball Club in the Counties Manukau Association. His 3 teams found success this season with the U15s being runners up in the Auckland competition and the U17s and Premier Men both Champions in Counties Manukau Softball Association league.

Mikaera was also selected for the Counties Manukau U15s team who were not only the runners-up, but also the Tournament Team, with Mikaera also gaining the prestigious award of MVP of the tournament. Mikaera was also part of the Counties U17s team who were National Champions. Fantastic achievements.
Along with playing, Mikaera is also assistant coach of the Counties U13s boys Rookie Sox team who were Champions this season.

This young athlete’s commitment and drive to improve have seen real rewards with Mikaera being selected for the New Zealand U15 Development Sox Team. Additionally, Mikaera was also selected for the NZ International Softball Association U16 team who will travel to Prague later this month.
