Classical Studies

Classical Studies is a study of the history, art and literature of ancient Greece and Rome without having to know the languages of Greek or Latin.
The course at Year 12 and Year 13 aim to provide students with an appreciation of selected areas of Greek and Roman civilisations. It also provides experience of a variety of different types of subject matter, evidence and argument. There are opportunities to make comparisons between the classical civilisations and the world today.

Classical Studies helps to give a sense of origins and explanations of European heritage.

All roads led to Rome.

When in Rome do as the Romans do.
