Year 12 Catering and Hospitality

Depending on circumstances it will be up to the discretion of the teacher to add in more unit standards if necessary.

Assessment Policy

A date for each test will be given at least a week in advance in negotiation with the class to avoid as many clashes as possible with school trips.

Each unit has a workbook and written, closed book test, some units have a practical component as well.

To be competent for the unit, you must fully complete the workbook and answer all questions in the test correctly, practicals must be completed for those units with a practical component to a competent standard.

You will have two opportunities in class time to resit the test. After that if you wish to resit, you have one more opportunity in your own time at a time that suits the teacher.
